    Description

    Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room

    Location

    • Denver, Colorado

    Employment Type

    • Travel assignment

    Contract Length

    • 13 weeks

    Work Schedule

    • 36 hours per week
    • No set schedules after initial shift scheduling; self-scheduling thereafter
    • On-call required on weekends, typically 8-12 calls per 8-week period
    • Shift hours: 7 AM to 5 PM

    Unit Information

    • Operating Room with 16 ORs
    • Located on the 2nd floor
    • Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
    • Procedures commonly performed: total joints, spine, kidney and liver transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, plastics

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NBSTSA certification
    • Minimum 3 years of Certified Surgical Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) certification
    • USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk training or certification
