Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Location: Fullerton, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital with 320 staffed beds
- On-call Requirement: 7 days on call per pay period (2 nights/week post-shift + 1 weekend every 2 weeks)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
- Start Date: ASAP
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Minimum 1.5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Additional Requirements
- Skills Checklist: Required and must be updated annually
- Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Annual Regulatory Training: Completion of facility and regional Workramp modules prior to start and annually thereafter
- Badge Photo: Passport-style photo with neutral background required for badge issuance
- Fit Mask Testing: Required for travel candidates, must be updated annually
- On-call and floating policy acknowledgment may be required

- Charting System: Meditech
- Scrub Color for RNs: Royal Blue
- Free parking available
Notes
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- Return to Office (RTO) restrictions must be included at time of submission
- Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
- Block scheduling accommodations are at manager discretion
This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab RNs with EPIC experience who are comfortable with on-call duties and weekend shifts in an acute care hospital setting.
