Description
Registered Nurse – Neuro Telemetry
Location: Chandler, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours (12-hour shifts)
Unit: B3A Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro
Patient Ratio: 1:3-4

Job Description
- Provide nursing care for patients with neurological conditions, CVAs, trauma, general surgery, and pulmonary issues.
- Work in a centralized telemetry setting; must be able to interpret EKGs.
- Float to sister facility as needed.
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
- Charge nurse role available (no patient assignment).
- Collaborate with hospitalists (day rounds and on-call at night), respiratory therapists (24/7), and pharmacy (24/7).
- No IV team support.
- Use of Airvo/High Flow oxygen devices and ventilators.
- Orientation includes 2 days floor-specific training and a pass/fail simulation lab on day one.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in Neuro Telemetry or related telemetry units (experience must be within the past 6 months).
- Active Arizona RN license or compact license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- COVID-19 vaccination required or approved religious/medical exemption with documentation.
- Must pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam 24-48 hours prior to position acceptance (maximum 2 attempts allowed).

- Scrub color: Navy.
- Patient care technicians (PCTs) ratio: 1 per 13 patients.
- First to float on nights plus every other weekend.
- Unit includes charge nurse and management roles.
Summary
This is a travel nursing opportunity for experienced Neuro Telemetry RNs seeking a 13-week night shift assignment in Arizona. Candidates must have strong telemetry skills, recent neuro/telemetry experience, and meet certification and exam requirements.
