Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position
Location: Aventura, Florida
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Physical Therapy
- Number of Beds: 467 total, including a new 26-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
- Staff: Approximately 40 Physical Therapists
- Shift: Day shift only (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment Used: Treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, BITS
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Call Requirements: Rotating weekends
- Dress Code: Light gray scrubs
Typical Procedures
- 1.5-hour long treatment sessions
- Attending team conferences
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
- Physical therapist competency assessment or understanding of USP 800 hazardous drug risks
