MRI Tech Position
Job Overview
- Temporary position with likely extensions based on practice needs; potential to convert to permanent for the right candidate.
- Focus on reviewing pre-screening forms, IV placement, and smaller exams such as hip, shoulders, and knees.
- Schedule: Rotating weeks, 32 hours per week.
- Week 1:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Week 2:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Contract Length
- 8 weeks
Required Experience & Skills
- Siemens equipment experience required (some exposure preferred).
- EPIC experience required; candidate should ideally be able to test out of additional PennChart training.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
Training
- PennChart training pre-course provided.
- Goal for candidate to have sufficient EPIC experience to test out of further training.
Required Qualifications & Compliance
- MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT certification required.
- Experience with Epic required.
- Must complete background check and various screenings including:
- Drug screen
- Color vision screening
- Hepatitis B, MMR, TdaP, Varicella vaccinations or records
- TB screening
- PA Child Abuse History Certification
- FBI and other federal/state checks (e.g., OFAC, OIG, SAM sanctions)
- Competency exam and skills checklist required.
- Core mandatory annual training required.
- Fit mask test required.
- Employment, educational, and license verifications required.
- Compliance documents must be submitted by the Wednesday before the start date.
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of award acceptance to avoid contract cancellation.

- Candidate profile must be accurate and complete with personal details (name, DOB, last 4 of SS#).
- Right to represent documentation must be included with submission.
