Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Bangor, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days

Job Summary

  • Perform patient care functions under supervision, following state nursing board regulations and facility policies.
  • Provide direct supervision as Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse during assigned shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maine.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Telemetry experience.

Skills and Other Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Team player.
  • Flexible hours.

Additional Information

  • Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
  • The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
  • If residing within 50 miles of the facility, a pay adjustment applies.
