Description
Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional nursing care for patients in Labor and Delivery.
- Independently use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Demonstrate age-specific competencies.
- May supervise other nursing staff including RNs, LVNs, nursing assistants, and clinical support associates.
- Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each (Day shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM).
- On-call as needed; no weekend requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
