Radiology Technologist (CT/XR) - Contract in Sitka, Alaska
Job Details

Job Description
- Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation.
- Apply principles of radiation protection and exercise professional judgment during procedures.
- Conduct diagnostic medical radiography within the department and other areas.
- Maintain patient records and files.
- Take responsibility for the departmental quality assurance program.
- Pursue continuing education.
- Transfer patients to and from radiology.
- Rotate shifts as required.
- Perform ancillary duties as requested by supervisor.
- Follow established policies and procedures.
- Assist in general hygiene of the department and self.
- Work well under stress.
- Be willing and able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work with patients and employees of all cultural and religious backgrounds.
- Adhere to ethics and compliance standards, reporting any variances appropriately.
- Uphold customer service standards aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or completion of a CT/XR training program.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography, CT, and XR.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- Experience as a Radiology Technologist.
