Job Description

• Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation.
• Apply principles of radiation protection and exercise professional judgment during procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic medical radiography within the department and other areas.
• Maintain patient records and files.
• Take responsibility for the departmental quality assurance program.
• Pursue continuing education.
• Transfer patients to and from radiology.
• Rotate shifts as required.
• Perform ancillary duties as requested by supervisor.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
• Assist in general hygiene of the department and self.
• Work well under stress.
• Be willing and able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work with patients and employees of all cultural and religious backgrounds.
• Adhere to ethics and compliance standards, reporting any variances appropriately.
• Uphold customer service standards aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or completion of a CT/XR training program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography, CT, and XR.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Experience as a Radiology Technologist.
