Description
Registered Nurse (CV/CT ICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: White Plains, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours: 12 hours per shift, approximately 34 hours per week
Unit: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU (CVICU/CTICU)
Job Description
- Provide nursing care for post-operative open heart surgery patients starting from post-op day zero.
- Work in a critical care environment requiring specialized skills in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic intensive care.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
- Prior experience in CVICU or CTICU nursing.
