Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Center

Location

  • Newton, Massachusetts

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • 40 hours per week, four 10-hour shifts
  • Shift start times: 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM
  • On-call required

Specialty

  • Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (CV IR)
  • Moderate sedation skill set required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Cardiology experience

Submission Requirements

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • Two references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the relevant skillset
  • Candidate submission coversheet (current version)

Additional Notes

  • Primary source verification of professional license and certifications required within 30 days of start date
  • No fit testing can be done onsite; must be completed prior to start
  • Positive TB test requires negative chest x-ray documentation
  • Name change documentation required if credentials do not match current legal name
  • Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for any changes in start date
