Description
CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position
Location: Reno, Nevada
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform diagnostic CT scans under supervision of CT Supervisor.
- Assist radiologists during CT procedures.
- Provide patient care across neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Operate advanced CT imaging and contrast injection equipment.
- Administer IV contrast materials as directed by radiologist.
- Coordinate daily workflow for ER, inpatient, and outpatient CT scans.
- Maintain quality control monitoring and comply with departmental policies.
- May float to other areas within competency.
- May work major holidays and pick up one additional shift per schedule period.
- No call required.
Work Schedule
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and weekdays
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Nevada
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality CT images following department guidelines.
- Make technical decisions to optimize scan quality.
- Provide patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation during exams.
- Manage care prioritization in a fast-paced, high-volume trauma and stroke environment.
- Collaborate with CT department for daily operations and strategic planning.

- Facility is a Level II Trauma Center with advanced imaging technologies.
- Exposure to trauma, stroke, and emergency cases.
- Opportunity to work with state-of-the-art CT scanners and image storage systems.
- May be subject to shift cancellations with 48 hours’ notice due to low census.
