CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Reno, Nevada
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform diagnostic CT scans under supervision of CT Supervisor.
• Assist radiologists during CT procedures.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Operate advanced CT imaging and contrast injection equipment.
• Administer IV contrast materials as directed by radiologist.
• Coordinate daily workflow for ER, inpatient, and outpatient CT scans.
• Maintain quality control monitoring and comply with departmental policies.
• May float to other areas within competency.
• May work major holidays and pick up one additional shift per schedule period.
• No call required.

Work Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and weekdays

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Nevada
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images following department guidelines.
• Make technical decisions to optimize scan quality.
• Provide patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation during exams.
• Manage care prioritization in a fast-paced, high-volume trauma and stroke environment.
• Collaborate with CT department for daily operations and strategic planning.

• May be subject to shift cancellations with 48 hours’ notice due to low census.
