Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Night Shift)
Location: Ithaca, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Overnight, week on/week off
- Wednesday night 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Wednesday through Saturday)
- Sunday 7:00 PM – Tuesday 7:00 AM, ending Wednesday morning
Job Description
- Overnight CT Technologist position with a rotating schedule as described above.
Required Qualifications
License & Certification:
- Valid CT Technologist license as required by the state of New York.
- ARRT certification for CT Technologist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (must not expire during assignment).
- State license verification completed within 30 days prior to start.
- License/certificate verification completed within 30 days prior to start.
Experience:
- Minimum years of experience in CT Technology as required by the specialty (not explicitly stated, assume standard for CT Technologist).
Health & Safety Requirements:
- Fit test completed within the last 12 months (specific mask types listed for the facility).
- Immunizations and titers required:
- MMR: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required.
- Hepatitis B: Positive antibody titer, 3 vaccine series, or specific declination form.
- Varicella: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required.
- Tdap: Must be within the last 10 years or have a declination form.
- Tuberculosis (TB) testing: Must have one of the following within required timeframes:
- Two skin PPDs (one within 12 months, one within 3 months) or
- One Quantiferon/Spot test within 12 months.
- For past positives, chest X-ray within 12 months may be required.
- COVID-19 vaccine proof or agency declination (optional).
- Physical/Health Statement within the past 12 months indicating clearance with no restrictions.
- Agency drug screen (9+ panel excluding marijuana) within 30 days of start.
Professional Requirements:
- Valid, unexpired U.S. driver’s license or state ID.
- Centralus Skills Checklist for the unit must be fully complete and updated annually.
- Centralus Core Competency Exam with a minimum score of 80%, updated annually.
- Background check including national and county criminal searches for all counties lived/worked in the last 7 years, FACIS 3 check, SSN address trace, and alias searches.
- Employment verification for the most recent employer (agency verification required if applicable).
- Two professional references: one from the last 12 months and one from the last 3 years.
- Centralus Resume detailing all employment and education history for the last 7 years or since graduation.
- Color headshot photo (professional, no filters, JPEG format).
- Signed and dated job description acknowledgment.
- Completion of required Centralus professional forms and acknowledgments (e.g., Code of Conduct, Sexual Harassment Acknowledgement, Parking Registration Form, Self Study Packet and Quiz, Confirmation of Assignment Form).
- Seven instant background checks must be manually run and uploaded.
Additional Documentation:
- Proof of active TN visa status if holding a Canadian-issued license (if applicable).
