Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position
Location: Winchester, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Work in the Cardiovascular Diagnostic Center performing Nuclear stress tests, regular stress tests, and Echocardiogram stress tests.
- Role classified as Exercise Physiologist within the cardiovascular diagnostic setting.
- Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5 days a week, 8-hour shifts).
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.
- Approximately 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia
- Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, a related field, or a related allied health field
- Certifications required: ACLS and BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Certification or membership with APTA or ACSM
- Skills and experience in Vascular Sonography
Work Environment
- Unit has approximately 495 beds.
- Patient ratio approximately 8 patients per provider.
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.
- Dress code: Black scrubs; adherence to employer dress code policy required.
