CT Technologist

Location: Lancaster, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4-10 hour shifts (7:30 PM to 6:00 AM), Monday-Thursday, no weekends
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations and assist physicians with invasive CT procedures.
• Prepare examinations for interpretation and maintain radiation safety.
• Operate CT and related equipment, including GE VCT and GE Revolution CT.
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction or protocol.
• Transport, move, and position patients safely.
• Assist physicians with special CT procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT.
• Perform and document diagnostic CT exams as ordered by approved healthcare providers.
• Ensure proper handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyze CT exams for quality control.
• Prepare completed exams for radiologist interpretation.
• Operate facility-based computer systems.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Maintain annual Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
