    Schedule

    • Day shift, 4 days per week (Tuesday-Friday)
    • 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
    • No weekends, floating, or on-call required
    • Schedule is fixed; no scheduling requests accommodated

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in California
    • Minimum 2 years of Oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
    • Certifications:
      • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
      • ONS or ONCC
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
    • Experience with Epic system

    Prior Travel Experience

    • First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience not required)

    Job Duties

    • Provide oncology nursing care with emphasis on chemotherapy administration
    • Utilize Epic system for documentation and clinical workflows
    • Support outpatient oncology treatment processes
    • Perform injections and IV insertions competently

    Required Background and Health Documentation

    • Government-issued photo ID required
    • Criminal background check within 6 months of start, updated annually
    • Verification of highest level of education
    • Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
    • Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually
    • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year; additional requirements if history of positive TB
    • Immunizations/vaccinations required:
      • 2 MMR vaccines or positive titers for measles, mumps, rubella
      • Hepatitis B vaccine series, titer, or declination
      • 2 Varicella vaccines or positive titer
      • Seasonal flu vaccination documentation required during flu season
    • Drug screening panel within 1 year excluding marijuana/THC
    • Two professional references required, at least one supervisory

    Competency and Certification Testing

    • Medication and pharmacology competency exam with minimum 80% passing score
    • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (time sensitive, may include on-site testing)
    • Pass/fail EKG assessment during orientation (specific units only)
    • Medication test during orientation (not pass/fail)
    • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification verification as applicable

    Additional Requirements

    • Fire safety training/course completion during orientation (fire card issued onsite)
    • Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style photo, no filters or accessories)
    • Acknowledgement and signing of job hazard analysis, code of conduct, attendance policy, social media policy, and confidentiality agreements required
