Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT

Location: Johnson City, New York
Employment Type: Clinical-Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable evaluation of radiology procedures, equipment, and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Comply with hospital policies related to incident reporting.
• Demonstrate radiation safety practices for patients and co-workers.
• Participate in Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures.
• Provide patient education as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff.
• Adhere to clinical principles, methods, and procedures during CT procedures.
• Uphold service delivery standards in interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.

Work Schedule

• Evening shifts available with flexible options:

  • 3 shifts of 12 hours (2pm–2:30am)
  • 4 shifts of 10 hours (2pm–12:30am)
  • 5 shifts of 8 hours (3:30pm–12am)
  • Every 4th weekend off
• Alternatively, 6 consecutive 12-hour shifts with 8 days off between, working every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Hours

• 40 hours per week
• 8 hours per day (varies by shift option)
