Description
RN Case Manager
Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Unit: Case Management (inpatient medical surgical coverage)
Patient Population: Adult
Bed Count: 200
Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:15
EMR System: EPIC
Floating: Yes
Rotating Shifts: No
Weekend Commitment: Up to every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Case Management, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience in Discharge Planning
- Experience in Utilization Management
Additional Information
- Floating to other units may be required
- No rotating shifts, but weekend coverage up to every other weekend is expected
- Must comply with all credentialing and health requirements prior to start
- No prior travel experience explicitly required
This position is ideal for experienced RN Case Managers with strong skills in utilization management and discharge planning seeking a stable day-shift assignment in an adult inpatient medical surgical setting.
