• Day shift, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
• Wednesdays off
• On call
• 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Description

• Function as an integral part of the perioperative team under RN supervision during the intraoperative period.
• Maintain a sterile environment by applying principles of asepsis.
• Independently scrub basic surgical procedures.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating supplies and equipment for efficiency.
• Participate in room turnover, setup, and equipment sterilization and maintenance.
• Provide age-specific care to obstetrical patients as needed.
• Maintain safety for patients, coworkers, and self, adhering to safety and legal policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Surgical Technologist license in Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology or Certificate of completion of Surgical Technology program
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• IDPH Fingerprinting
