Description
Dialysis RN
Location: Ithaca, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, every other Saturday
Patient Care:
- Covers inpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2 for acute hemodialysis treatments, 1:1 for acute ICU treatments (ICU RN maintains primary care)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Minimum of 2 years dialysis experience, including dialysis experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must remain valid throughout assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid driver's license
