Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (Days)

Location: Glens Falls, New York
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform a variety of CT procedures independently using prescribed CT techniques for diagnosis.
• Complete all routine diagnostic CT procedures.
• Obtain intravenous access for contrast injections.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with strong oral and written skills.
• Utilize basic computer skills.
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color (no designs, cartoons, or hoodies).
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable.
• Holiday pay multiplier: 1.25x.
• Cancellation policy: Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts during the contract with 2 hours’ notice.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved before assignment start; no more than 5 days allowed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT/PET experience.
• Experience with contrast injection required.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification in CT.
• BLS certification.
• Must have own vehicle (firm requirement).
• Previous or current travel experience strongly encouraged.
• GE scanner experience preferred but not required.

Compliance & Profile Requirements

• Must provide New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate with submission.
• Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
• Completion of verbal de-escalation training from approved programs (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) required for onboarding and clearance.
• Profile must include:

  • Work history.
  • Skills checklist updated within the last year.
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.
  • Current licenses and certifications uploaded (NY State Rad Tech License, ARRT, BLS).
  • Permanent address matching driver’s license/state ID (address will be validated).
• Candidates with permanent addresses in the following New York counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.
