Mammography Technician - Brooklyn, New York
Job Type

Work Schedule
- Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Hours per day: 8
- Hours per week: 40
Job Description
- Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography.
- Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors.
- Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled according to department SOP.
- Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure timely transmission to PACS.
- Complete all studies in IDX system.
- Accurately record all required patient tracking information.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in New York.
- Minimum 2 years of mammography technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- Must maintain MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) requirements.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Additional Information
- Must work effectively and efficiently.
- Experience with document imaging and mammography systems required.
