Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Case Management)

Location

• Weirton, West Virginia

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Specialty

• Case Management (CM) and Utilization Review (UR)

Work Setting

• Inpatient Medical Care (IMC), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), inpatient rehab, skilled care

Schedule

• Day shift, Monday through Friday
• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• No weekends, no holidays, no on-call

Patient Load

• 15-20 patients/consults per day

Job Duties

• Initial patient assessments
• Discharge planning
• Continued stay and placement authorizations

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA)
• One of the following specialty certifications preferred:

  • CCM (Certified Case Manager)
  • ACM (Accredited Case Manager)
  • C-SWCM (Certified Social Work Case Manager)
  • CBHCM (Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
• Minimum of 3 years of Case Management experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
