Description
Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Eureka, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Preferred experience in postpartum care
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Weekend work required to meet staffing needs
- Float requirement: Travelers may be asked to float within their scope to meet facility needs
- Patient load: Approximately 20 visits per day
- Unit size: 11 rooms/beds, average daily census 15-20
- Care for high-risk obstetrics and culturally diverse populations
- RNs circulate on cesarean sections
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
