    Description

    Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Night Shift)

    Location: Torrance, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    • Support the PM shift with strong caregiving skills.
    • Must be flexible to work weekends (weekend requirement depends on contract length).
    • May be required to float between units, including mother-baby and possibly to a nearby acute care hospital.
    • Charting system used: Epic.
    • Free parking available.
    • Scrub color: Any color allowed.

    Shift Details

    • Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3 shifts per week)
    • 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week guaranteed (facility may call off once per two-week pay period).

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in California
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
    • Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with experience within the last year
    • ACLS (American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
    • AWHONN Advanced Certification
    • BLS issued by American Heart Association
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
