Description

Registered Nurse — Neuro ICU

Location

Phoenix, Arizona

Contract

13 weeks
36 hours per week
12-hour day shifts

Required Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certification
2 years of ICU experience in a large facility (450+ beds)
Level I trauma experience
EVD experience
Strong neuro assessment skills
ICP monitoring experience
Cerner experience
3–6 months of travel experience

Additional Considerations

May float to all ICU floors and all Tele units
Must be able to work with a 1:2 patient ratio in the unit and up to 1:4 when floating to Tele
Charge nurse role does not take patients
Vents are present on the unit
This is a teaching hospital, and nursing students may be present
Must complete SIMs Lab and a day 1 pass/fail exam
Must pass the dysrhythmia exam before acceptance
Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
Must be able to work within the unit’s weekend and holiday rotation
