ICU RN Travel/Contract Job

Job Overview

• Location: Burlingame, California
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• On-call: No

Unit Details

• ICU float role with floating required to:

  • ICU
  • SDICU
  • Telemetry
  • Med Surg
• Floating may be to all inpatient units from ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (4 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Telemetry experience
• Med Surg experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS

Additional Notes

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start
• FACIS Level 3 search required within 2 weeks of start
• TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and renewed annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start
• Drug screen required within 6 months of start
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit test required within 1 year of start and renewed annually
• Tdap required within 10 years of start
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• Candidate must review and sign required pre-start documents
• Full 7 years of work history must be included in the application
