Description
RN Perioperative Circulator
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Role Summary
Perioperative circulating RN responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures in the operating room.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program
- CNOR certification
Key Skills
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Understanding of AORN Standards
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Some computer skills
