Description
Registered Nurse - ED/Trauma
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for primarily adult inpatient populations.
- Deliver care consistent with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
- Work includes clinical competence in emergency department and trauma patient care.
- Telemetry competence required for the department.
Schedule
- 3rd shift (evening/night)
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating every 3rd weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with recent ED experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC)
- Telemetry competence and telemetry experience
Experience
- Minimum 9 years of experience in ED/Trauma nursing.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Additional Information
- Focus on patient care management and nursing theory application.
- Experience with adult inpatient populations in emergency and trauma settings is essential.
