Job Overview

Location: Springfield, Missouri

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of Emergency Department experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
Driver's License

Schedule / Assignment Details

Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and requires availability for the entire week
Weekend coverage is required as needed by the facility
Call is not required
Block scheduling is not available
RTO must be made up on the back end
RTO is not approved during the first week of the assignment
Only 1 holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment

Clinical Setting

68-bed emergency department
Typical patient ratio is 4:1, though it may change based on surge or other circumstances
High-acuity, busy urban trauma setting
Patient population includes trauma, stroke, STEMI, and burn care

Additional Notes

Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted
Black scrubs are required
Unprofessional attire and jeans are not allowed
EPIC is used for the electronic medical record system
