Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Fullerton, California
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with 1 day off; day off may vary week to week
• Ratios: 1:1
• Acute care hospital setting
• 320 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• CVOR (5 years of experience)
• CVOR experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Call

• Weekend call only
• Call required: post-shift 5:00 PM–7:00 AM and weekend 24-hour call
• At least 1 weekend per month and 1 post-shift call per week
• Block scheduling not available
• Scheduling preferences may be considered but are not guaranteed
• Requests related to additional employment will not be considered

Compliance and Onboarding

• RTO must be included at submission
• Government-issued photo ID required
• Social Security card required as applicable for I-9
• E-Verify attestation required
• Background check required
• Education verification required
• Employment application must include at least the last 5 years of employment
• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Work history verification may be required if using a reference exception
• Annual regulatory modules required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance required for travel starts
• Respirator safety clearance required for travel starts
• Drug screen required within 12 months of start
• TB clearance, MMR immunity, Hepatitis B documentation, Varicella immunity, Tdap, flu documentation, and COVID documentation required per onboarding rules
