Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Experience with Cerner
- Driver's License
- ED - Emergency Department experience
- Neuro ICU experience
Additional Requirements
- Must have been away from CommonSpirit as permanent staff for 12 months to be eligible
- Cannot work another assignment or contract at the same time
- Must pass the dysrhythmia exam before acceptance
- Day 1 pass/fail orientation exam required
- Must complete onboarding by the stated deadline
- Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
- Must be able to provide own vehicle if traveling as part of a travel team
Unit Details
- 30-bed trauma, orthopedic, and surgical unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-5
- Charge nurse does not take patients
- 2 nurse aides on days, 1 on nights
- 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
- Navy scrubs
- Philips telemetry
- Bipap and CPAP used on the unit
- Floating may include MS/Tele and possibly Westgate or AZ General Laveen Campus

- Post-op transplants
- Whipples
- Spine
- Orthopedic joints
- Trauma
Other Notes
- Teaching hospital
- Level I trauma and teaching experience required
- Floor orientation: 2 shifts
- SIMs lab includes Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes for most RNs
- Parking involves shuttle transport from assigned parking areas
