Overview

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico

Unit Focus

Post-cardiac cath and post-surgical patients
Patients receiving high-risk medications and respiratory support, including NIPPV

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in New Mexico
Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of telemetry experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Role Responsibilities

Complete initial assessments and establish care priorities
Reassess patients and update care plans as needed
Develop and implement individualized plans of care
Make nursing decisions based on patient evaluations and outcomes
Provide patient and family education and discharge planning
Document interventions and perform point-of-care testing
