RN Telemetry Travel Assignment

Overview

Location: San Antonio, Texas
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekend requirement: Rotation weekends with 2 weekend day commitments
Call: No
Floating: Required as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

Neuro-stroke, seizure, or other neurological disorder experience
Cardiac experience
Neuro-surgical experience
Meditech experience

Unit Details

Neuro telemetry unit
Common procedures include peripheral IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, and NGT insertion

Dress Code

Navy scrub top and pants
Navy or white scrub jacket
Clean, neat appearance required; visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
