CT Tech
Location
Lafayette, Colorado
Schedule
- Evening shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating call and assigned holidays
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (R)
- Associate degree
Experience
- 1–2 years of CT and acute care experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures and produce quality diagnostic images
- Verify patient identity and exam orders, prepare patients, and provide patient education
- Review images for quality and completeness
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, sterile technique, and department protocols
- Administer contrast media per protocol under physician or radiologist supervision
- Maintain accurate records and report equipment issues
- Assist students and other radiology technologists with protocols, positioning, and equipment
