Job Overview

Travel RN position in Kansas City, Missouri
13-week contract
48 hours per week
Unit: Stroke & Brain
16-bed unit
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, including 3–4 weekend shifts
Floating may occur to other areas where competency has been demonstrated

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Cardiac drips experience
Stroke experience

Preferred / Requested Experience

Cardiac drips
Telemetry experience
Neurology experience

Unit Details

Patient ratio: 4:1
Tech support available
Equipment includes telemetry, bladder scanner, Doppler, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, and Welch Allyn vital sign machines
Documentation system: Meditech

Dress Code

Navy blue uniform required
