Labor and Delivery RN
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in San Francisco, California
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- No on-call; weekend rotation required
- Acute care high-risk labor and delivery assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery experience with 2 years of experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Role Responsibilities
- Assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care
- Provide direct patient care and patient/family education
- Support transitions of care
- Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with patients, families/support groups, physicians, and other healthcare providers
Additional Notes
- Background check and health/documentation clearances are required before start
- Candidate must review and sign required pre-start documents
