Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Location

- Night shift, 7p–7a

Schedule
- 36-hour guarantee
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Experience with Meditech
Preferred Experience
- Critical care experience
- Charge experience
Job Expectations
- Ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
- Ability to assess patient needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
- Ability to recognize safety issues and use lifts to move patients safely
- Ability to function well in stressful situations
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills
- May be required to assume charge nurse duties
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
