Cath Lab Tech

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Toledo, Ohio
  • Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Adults and geriatrics patient population
  • Average daily census: 25–30
  • 7 rooms

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
  • Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ARRT
  • Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
  • Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
  • Stent placement experience
  • Angioplasty experience
  • Angiogram experience
  • Paracentesis experience
  • Thoracentesis experience
  • IABP training
  • Impella training
  • STEMI-ready capability
  • Experience in a STEMI/PCI facility
  • Experience with Epic

Schedule / Call

  • One weekday call per week
  • Every 5th weekend call
  • For a 13-week contract, two weekends are required: Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM, plus one night each week
  • One holiday of call may be required during holiday periods

Additional Notes

  • Travelers are accepted based on experience
  • No locals accepted within 50 miles
  • Scrubs are provided
  • Epic is used for documentation
