Operating Room RN

Location

  • Hendersonville, North Carolina

Schedule

  • Day shift
  • 4x10 weekday schedule
  • 40 hours per week

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS

Preferred Experience

  • 1 year of experience working as a registered nurse in a surgical setting

Unit Details

  • Operating room department with 10 operating rooms and an endoscopy suite
  • Experience with orthopedic, total joints, spine, urology, endoscopy, general surgery, gynecology, vascular, and robotics cases is needed for travelers
  • Eye case competency is a nice-to-have

Call Requirements

  • Weekend call approximately every 6 to 8 weeks
  • One weeknight call per week from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
