Clinical Nurse II - Vascular Access
Location
Palo Alto, California
Schedule

Contract Length
17 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license
- 3 years of vascular access experience
- Vascular access experience within the last year
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Experience working with neonate patients
- Peripheral IV insertion with ultrasound skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PICC insertion experience
Role Overview
- Provides patient care independently using the nursing process
- Manages more complex patient care assignments appropriate to skill level
- Works with the inter-professional health care team to coordinate care across the continuum
- May guide, assist, and direct unlicensed assistive personnel
- Must be proficient with clinical equipment, computers, and technology used in the nurse’s practice setting
