Description
Case Management RN
Location
Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts
- Monday through Friday
- Weekend rotation
- On-site
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- 2 years of Case Management experience
- Case Management experience within the last year
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Acute hospital case management experience
- Competency with MCG and InterQual
- Utilization review experience
- Ability to drive stay progression and complete discharge planning in a manner that expedites patients transition to the next level of care
- Utilization Review (InterQual)
Preferred
- Certification in Case Management

- Stay progression and discharge planning
- Collaboration with the care team
- Documentation in Epic
Additional Details
- May float to other units or floors while performing the same case management role
- Uses MCG and InterQual
- Local travelers within 50 miles are subject to a reduced rate
- Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours per 13-week assignment
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- Business casual dress code with white lab coat or eggplant-colored scrubs
- Close-toed shoes required
