Description
RN 24/7 AD/DIP - PICU/NICU
Assignment Details
- 13-week travel assignment
- 36 hours per week
- Day/night rotation: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Floating required as needed
- Option for 48 guaranteed hours may be discussed at offer
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
- 6 months or more of total travel experience
- BLS
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience in a Critical Care setting
- Intubated patient care experience
- Solid organ transplant experience
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CCRN certification
- TCTCN certification
- Solid organ transplant experience
Education
- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate, associate, or diploma nursing program
- If the nursing program was not accredited by ACEN or CCNE, at least 1 year of RN experience in an applicable care setting within the last 5 years is required
- If graduation was more than 2 years ago, 1 year of RN experience in an applicable care setting is required
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
- Supports nursing practice across settings and the care continuum
- Specializes in critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- Cares for medically complex pediatric patients, including transplant, trauma, cardiac, neurological, pulmonary, and multi-organ cases
