Cath Lab Tech

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Lafayette, Indiana
  • Day shift, 4x10 hours
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Indiana
  • Cath Lab Technologist (1.5 years of experience)
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARRT (R)
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association

Schedule and Call

  • On-call required
  • 10–12 call shifts per month
  • 30-minute response time
  • Call lasts 12–14 hours and begins after the shift ends; if not working that day, call begins at 5:00 PM
  • Must work 1 winter holiday

Facility Details

  • Short-term acute care facility
  • Free parking

Additional Notes

  • Cerner charting system
  • Guaranteed hours vary by shift pattern:
    • 8- and 10-hour shifts: 40 hours per workweek
    • 3 12-hour shifts: 36 hours per workweek
    • 4 12-hour shifts: 48 hours per workweek
