CT/X-Ray Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Redwood City, California
- 13-week contract
- 8-hour evenings, 40 hours per week
- Unit: Radiology
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- Active BLS
- ARRT (CT)
- ARRT (R)
- Fluoro
- For Rad Techs, certification by the State of CA
Preferred
- Basic Rad Techs having a Fluoro permit
- Advanced certification
- Venipuncture experience
- A lot of OR experience
- CT and Mammography certification through the State of CA
- Mammography tomography training
Additional Role Details
- The assignment is for an experienced Radiology Tech
- Types of staff on the unit include Rad Techs with and without CT experience, U/S Techs, and Mammography Techs
- Patients are scheduled 1 per hour to allow room for inpatient and ER patients
- Typical patient mix includes ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient
- CT uses Siemens 64-slice and 128-slice equipment
- U/S uses Phillips equipment
- Scrubs are provided by the hospital
- EMR: Cerner
