Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Los Banos, California
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Weekends are included in the rotation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start
• FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start
• California Medi-Cal search is required if FACIS III cannot be run monthly
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG are required
• State license verification required within 30 days of start
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start
• TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit test required within 1 year of start and annually
• Drug screen required within 6 months of start
• Tdap required within 10 years of start
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• Color blind exam required before start
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps
• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• Candidate must review and sign job description, standards of business conduct, general regulatory orientation, dress code policy, vendor training, code of conduct, overpayment refund policy, and Epic questionnaire before start

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
