Role Summary

Provides direct patient care to a designated group of patients in a fast-paced, multi-faceted department, including observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Psychiatric experience within the last year
• 1 year of psychiatric experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Resume
• State license verification completed within 30 days prior to start
• Must account for all employment and gaps from the last 7 years, or back to graduation date
• Education history with degree title and graduation date
• All dates must be in MM/YY format
• Initial nursing degree verification
• Valid/current US driver’s license or US ID card
• Physical/health statement within the past 12 months showing no restrictions
• Fit test completed prior to start and within the last 12 months
• TB testing within the last year
• MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination form
• Tdap within the last 10 years or declination form
• Influenza vaccine or declination form
