Role overview
Travel RN assignment on 2 North – Med-Surg in a 24-bed unit.
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- Postoperative (postop) care experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
Preferred
- PALS
- NIH
- 2 years experience or more
Unit details
- 36 staff
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Floating area: ICU for MedSurg overflow patients
- EMR: Meditech Expanse (PCS)
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- 4-week schedule
- Must sign up for every other weekend or 2 weekends
- Holidays required
- RTO must be pre-approved
