MS/Tele RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Potsdam, New York
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- 48 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Unit details: Avg. Daily Census 23; 17 rooms; 30 beds
- Ratios: Days 1:5; Nights 1:6
- Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
- Float required to sister units: West 2, West 3, and Observation
- Locals accepted only if more than 50 miles away
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic
Unit / Clinical Details
- Patient diagnoses include cardiac, respiratory, COVID, infectious disease, pre- and post-operative, endocrine, and CVA
- Unit can be PCU or med/surg/tele
- PCU-trained candidates are prioritized
- Certified Stroke Center
