Description
Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA)
Overview
- Contract role in Chico, California
- 16-week assignment
- Day shift with 8- or 10-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
- Alternating weekends
- Practices as a first assistant to the surgeon in the Operating Room and Labor and Delivery Suite
- Requires credentialing through the medical staff office, with a minimum 6–8 week processing time
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in California
- CNOR
- BLS
- ACLS
- First Assist experience within the last year
- 2 years of First Assist experience
Additional Information
- Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions are required to float as needed
- Agency staff must be W-2 employees of their agency
