Description
ICU Float Pool Registered Nurse
Role Overview
- ICU float pool RN
- Floats to MS/Tele/PCU/overflow units as needed, including Overflow PACU and other MS/Tele/PCU stepdown units
- Start dates accepted: 11/2, 11/16, or 12/2
Schedule
- Night shift: 19:00–7:30
- 36 or 48 hours available
- Weekend requirement: yes
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated
- No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- Must work 3 of 5 holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PA line/Swan Ganz experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

- This is a float position
- EKG exam is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed to continue with the contract
